Yesterday I spent a good chunk of the afternoon with Ms. Yoon the mastermind behind Milk + Honey. She’s in the middle of putting together a cookbook but needed a cover so she asked me to come over and take some shots of her workin away in the kitchen in exchange for some of her delicious red velvet cupcakes!!! I LOOOOVE cupcakes, i love it more than cheescake, regular cake, muffins or regular cookies (get the idea?) I especially LOOOVE her red velvet cupcakes I had no idea such cupcakes existed until I had a chance to try hers through strange circumstances (wink wink) and I’ve been a convert ever since. If any one of you out there want to get in my good books order me a dozen red velvet

I’ve been doing a lot of browsing at book stores these days now that I have a lot of time on my hands :p
One book that stuck out to me was “annie leibovitz at work”. I was just flipping through the book but the back pages caught my eye…it read “ten most asked questions” and true enough the first question was a question that I would’ve probably asked annie if i ever had the privilege of meeting her. I won’t regurgitate what she wrote so read on brothas and sistas…

i watched Watchmen the other day but before doing so I went to the book store to look at some of the books that came out in prelude to the movie. One book i picked up to look through was “Watchmen: Portraits” by Clay Enos. The photographs look so bright and clean yet there’s something about it that looks very grungy too. The movie itself is very raw..nothing is really hidden really (I was suprised that the blue man a.k.a Dr Manhattan does not wear underwear).

we spent a productive day today. we hit up the ROM, Indigo, movie theater…and of course amazing food.
oh man, who knew playing was so tiring, or am i just getting old?
