Flyer and the Catcher
The Flying Rodleighs are trapeze artists who perform in the German circus Simoneit-Barum. When the circus came to Freiburg a few years ago, my friends invited me and my father to see the show. I will never forget how enraptured I became when I first saw the Rodleighs move through the air, flying and catching each other as elegant dancers. The next day I returned to the circus to see them again and introduced myself to them as one of their great fans.

Jess + Marshall Married
yes..they’re married….i shot their engagement shoot and their wedding with only a week apart LOL that’s gotta be a record for me. I’m so truly happy for jess and marshall. Like I said before I never imagined I would shoot my highschool friends wedding but God works in mysterious ways. I asked them where they were going for their honeymoon only to realize that was a dumb question because they live in hawaii…I wonder where people from hawaii go for honeymoons…
Both the ceremony and reception were at a heritage home and it was so quaint! The whole wedding was very laid back and cozy :) -
Jess + Marshall Engaged!
On monday I had an engagement shoot with Jess and Marshall who’s wedding I will be shooting this coming monday!!!! Here’s a little teaser
I had so much shooting them they’re so laid back and fun! not to mention totally in love! sigh…and guess what??? they live in HAWAIIII!!!!!!!!!
I know jess from highschool and I would have never imagined that I would end up shooting her wedding. This job is such a blessing in my life because I get to meet new people as well as get reacquainted with old friends. -
…gone camping :)
i’m going camping in a couple hours! I just wanted to put up a post before I leave. The past several days have been weird because my cousins are away in korea so i’m all alone :( so instead of sulking at home and doing nothing i crashed at claudias and did everything from cross fit to volleyball to a 7k jog to playing squash. It was quite the active couple days. Oh I actually played volleyball this time instead of just peppering and that was fun, i felt completely lost though because I didn’t know where to stand half the time!

Hyerim + James jr Engaged!
I’m so happy for Hyerim and James! I got the real deal story on their engagement during the engagement shoot and I was amazed at how perfect the whole timing was. We started the shoot by going to china town…walked to kensington market and ended at UofT!!!!
It was a good day to shoot :)
