wohoo!!! I’m plowing through my weddings and getting them up on to my blog!
Hyerim + James…my church friends…I had a blast shooting this wedding because all my friends were there too! Also, I had Chris Luk from Christopher Luk Photography assisting me :p It’s really really amazing shooting with other colleagues because I don’t feel as lonely hehehe…just kidding…it’s great because you don’t have to talk to yourself and debate to oneself about whether or not something is a good idea or completely stupid. We got to trespass a little during the shoot, great fun! you should try it some time :) down side was getting bit by friggin mosquitoes!!! GARH!!! I HATE MOSQUITOES!
I had the pleasure of shooting another friends wedding in London Ontario. It’s so different shooting outside of the city because first of all it’s hard to scout areas to shoot prior to the wedding. But everything turned out great because they got married at a winery and winery’s are always pretty :)
I went up to London the night before and stayed at a hotel with the bridesmaids but we got woken up by a fire alarm at around 3 or 4am…!!!!! GARH!!! i was so angry! I almost didn’t go outside cause I just wanted to sleep! While we were waiting outside for the firemen to arrive we saw a little boy with a firefighter helmet!
I’m getting a dog!
If all goes well I will be a proud owner of a beautiful German Shepherd. I’ve been wanting one for ages and I’ve been searching for one for the longest time but none of them seemed to work out. So I’m really hoping that things will work out this time! Who knew finding a good dog would be this difficult. There are so many factors to consider! Such as breed and temperament…every dog has a personality and I really wanted to find one that I could get along with. This ultimately is the best thing for the dog too. I’ve always wanted a GSD. Living in Pakistan everyone seemed to have one but my parents wouldn’t allow pets! But now I can finally make that decision for myself :) yay! I love dogs!!! And he’ll have playmates too!
I had the pleasure of shooting Ahran and Paul for their one year anniversary. I can’t believe it’s already been a year!…a year since I attended their wedding :)
It’s just so cool to get to know people better as I shoot them. I get a feel for what kind of relationship they have and every couple I shoot are soooo different! Ahran and Paul are cool.
Ahhhhh I love babys! I just wanna bite their cheeks!
Liz and Jussi’s baby Gabriel has incredibly bite-able cheeks. He’s such a happy smiley baby with a variety of expressions, such a sweetheart. I got to spend the whole day with the family beginning the shoot in Gabriels baby room and wrapping things up at the harbourfront. It was awesome working with such a welcoming and laid back family. It’s also such a pleasure shooting people that my camera loves and my camera really loved Liz and Jussi :D check it out they’re like models!
