ahhhhh soooo cuuuuuuute! I almost died when i saw susan and yusung waiting for me at the starbucks in unionville because they looked SO DAMN CUTE!
susan and yusung have been together for NINE YEARS! and they’re still so cute :P You can tell that they are deeply committed to each other because they are so accommodating and considerate to one another.
this week i drove to Elora Ontario for dom and roger’s engagement shoot. I was so happy when i got there because Elora is such a quaint little town with a european feel. Also, dom and roger were so considerate and sweet. It was so perfect to get out of toronto for a while and enjoy nature as well as enjoy the company of two wonderful people. I’m very excited to shoot their wedding because i know it’ll be a ton of fun.
amelia and daniel’s wedding was fantastic! the AGO was beauuuuutiful! it was done in good taste :) Her dress was really stylin too. Like most chinese weddings the day started off with some games that the groom and his groomsmen need to complete in order to win passage to see the bride. kekeke. they make them do pretty silly stuff. It’s always such a blessing to witness two people come together and see how much love they have for one another. Plus, i have a soft spot for amelia and daniel because they’re so nice :) I’m a sucker for nice people. One thing i’m a little sad about is that we couldn’t shoot around the art work…it would’ve been SOOOOO cool to get them inside the actual gallery
Man! amelia and daniel’s wedding this past saturday was amazing! Their reception at the AGO was just BEAUTIFUL! and it was a blast having the shoot inside it :) Their ceremony at knox college at UofT was beautiful too. The lighting inside that sanctuary is just so magical. I just wanted to post up a photo before i crashed and say THANK YOU for letting me be a part of your very very special day. And thanks for the parking pass. I really appreciate you appreciating me.
this past weekend I experienced how tibetans celebrate an 80th birthday :) Thanks claudia for the opportunity!
it was a surprise party with two entrances and there was some confusion as to which door their very loved grandpa would come through but it all worked out in the end. I know this is a wedding photography blog but i wanna share some photos :)
So tibet is not too far from india and pakistan and i was so happy to hear bits of Urdu being spoken like “Jul-dee” which means “hurry!” being shouted out :) It made me feel right at home.
bah! i’ve been quite frustrated with the weather in toronto to be quite honest. I’ve had to reschedule so many engagement shoots because of the unpredictable and strangely chilly weather that’s hit toronto this year. It’s may and I just saw it snow the other day as I was driving home. I wish i was sitting by a beach reading a good book then jumping into the cool ocean when it gets too hot
this past saturday chris and i assisted claudia at katherine and andrews wedding and it was SO much fun! I got dropped off at andrew’s house where I covered the guys side of wedding party. I immediately felt so comfortable because everyone was just so warm and welcoming and everyone was just so awesome and fun! It was a totally inspiring wedding because katherine and andrew were soooooo sweet together which affects the mood of the whole wedding and also makes me shoot better because I’m so inspired. The wedding reception was at Liberty Grand which seems to be quiet popular…I seem to end up there quite often now. So here are some images from the day :)
it’s been way too long and it’s 12:21 am right now..just got home from shooting a wedding. Now I’m backing up files + getting ready to sleeeep + blogging + packing to go to new york tomorrow! Talk about multi-tasking haha!
I did an engagement shoot with Michelle and Andy this past week :) I’m shooting their wedding as claudia’s associate which is cool. And they’re a cool couple! And they took me out to dinner which is extra bonus because I always appreciate people who are appreciative and considerate and nice and awesome.
