lillia + vince
it was such a pleasure to shoot lil and vince’s wedding. after sharing the journey of booking -> engagement shooting -> wedding-ing… i’ve come to really admire lillia. I mean…how many photographers have been served dinner by the bride herself? That’s how unselfish she is and that’s how much she thinks of others more than herself. It’s not often that you see that kind of servants heart and it really challenged me to do the same. Even before this I witnessed how patient and steady she was throughout the whole wedding. She was patient in situations where a lot of brides would have felt the right to be a little upset. So, i LOVE lil… vince you’re alright too… :P

nicole + justin
nicole and justin were set up by nicoles mum! Can you believe it? Nicole’s mum worked as a secretary where justin works and on her last day there she asked justin if he would be up for meeting her daughter! KEKEKEKE so cute. nicole and justin’s first date was at a near by starbucks and they wanted to take some pictures there on their wedding day. It felt great to take pictures at their special places…revisiting where they first met and their date spots :D

kekeke today i was just browsing through some work by The Selby because i’m Interior Design sick…i miss it. Some of you know that I come from an interior design background :) Basically what Todd Selby does is go to ppls homes and documents their habitat through his eyes. It’s awesome!

ipad in the mail
i ordered my very own ipad this week and i’m super excited. I can’t wait to have a more portable business and a tool that will display my photographs with a more hands on experience. It’ll also be great to be out and about and answer calls more efficiently. I hate checking my calendar while i’m on the phone it’s so awkward! My job is so much fun :) It’s such a joy to love what I do and look forward to working and constantly try to upgrade and make my business better and therefore provide better service to my clients! <3

i love michelle and andy :)
their wedding was SO much fun and i just felt like one of their friends. i can’t say it enough! it’s such a joy to be a part of peoples lives in this way…there really is nothing else that compares :)
I actually met michelle and andy YEARS ago waaay before i became a wedding photographer which is so crazy…i barely recollect but i remember the circumstances in which we met. Also a friend of mine is coworkers with michelle which is another random connection. By now I understand the full extent of just how small the community is here in toronto but it still blows my mind and still excited me to discover these connections. -

i’m really excited to shoot lillia and vince’s wedding this coming sunday. i find that i really look forward to and enjoy shooting weddings that are “unconventional” for example no bridesmaids or groomsmen, afternoon ceremony and reception at a restaurant. Not to say that traditional weddings don’t have their charm cause they do!
