a little peek at some of the questions i get…not to say that ALL my meetings are like this but reveals that a lot of people don’t understand what it takes to run a wedding photography business.
hilarious! Please…take it easy on us photographers. A wedding is a big day! one of the most important day of your life! however there are people around you trying to make that day special for you so it wouldn’t hurt to be nice ….
i paid a visit to my friend sally’s loft where she runs her jewelery business in downtown toronto. she has an awesome collection of jewelery. I remember when she first started so seeing where she is now i felt so proud :D
check out her stuff! psalmsaccessories.com
it’s funny that i just blogged about our escapade shootin with the ipad and i see this on…check it out it’s sooo cooool!!!!! so siiiiiick.
one of the the things i appreciate most about shooting with claud and chris is the dynamism. We’ve come to a point where we understand each other and appreciate each others quirks as well as respect each other professionally. It’s really great to be able to bounce an idea off a person and they take it to the next level and the next person takes it to the NEXT level whereas if i were shooting alone the creative juices would stop a lot earlier. I think what i’m trying to say is that the rate of learning ends up being higher/quicker because throughout the day we’re constantly talking and sharing.
such a dear couple. I met vinci and isaac last year through a friend and i was touched by just how much they were dedicated to each other and to serving God. So when i found out early this year she was diagnosed with lymphoma cancer i was soooooo sad! Thankfully they caught it at an early stage and she was able to go through the necessary treatments. I saw such a brave woman in her and also look up to isaac for being such a constant support to her through the difficult times. When a couple goes through something like this when they say their vows “…through sickness and in health” it really hits a chord. There were many tears during the ceremony. That’s true love :D
here’s another wedding i shot with claudia. what was special about this wedding was that i got to finally shoot at graydon manor. I kept hearing so much about it from claud and now i understand why. It’s beautiful. The manor feels authentic and that’s whats awesome about it because there are a lot of venues out there that try and duplicate that old manor feeling but they often fail miserably. sandra and ade are a cool couple…they both ride motorcycles!!! sooo cool!!!
As i continue to shoot weddings I’ve realized how much I looooove to arrange a set. I still enjoy capturing those candid moments but i also LOOOOVE to bring in the more stylized fashiony side into my photographs.
just wanted to share a photo from a family shoot i did couple weeks ago. :)
don’t they look dignified?
