Karen and Tan are sweet! sooo sweet! They have the gentlest souls and I can’t imagine them snapping at anyone. They were extremely patient with their relatives and their traditions…pulling them this way and that way. props to ya! Thank you karen and tan for letting me be a part of your beauuuutiful day!

I’m soooo excited for my friends wedding in vancouver next year in july! It’s really an amazing thing to be a part of someone’s life through such a monumental day. I’m reminded of this every time I shoot a wedding.
I post a lot about other people so when Jenn told me she was going to post about each person in her wedding party I was a little nervous! But she only said nice things about me. Her blog is so cute! She’s been using it as her “sketch book” for her wedding. It’s filled with her random thoughts, wedding ideas, her relationship with her fiance… i like it!

I’m often thankful for the way I grew up. I grew up in a boarding school in Pakistan (I know it’s so random) where there were very little resources for artistic kids. Piano teachers changed almost every year…art teachers changed almost as frequently and some years there were no art teachers. I vowed to myself that once I got out into the western world I would take advantage of the resources around me and DO the things that I had always wished to do.
