baaahhhhhh can’t believe these two are married! I had such a fun time shooting their wedding because it really felt like I wasn’t working. In fact I had to remind myself that I was working and tell myself to shoot because angela and jun are just those kinds of people…they put people at ease. I loved all the details from their wedding (maybe because it reminded me of our wedding…which reminds me…i should post those sometime soon). I absolutely love these types of weddings!!!! Did I mention Angela is a super talented illustrator?
With the closing of summer here is an engagement session that reflects just that…summer…
Remember playing in the water in the summer as a child? That feeling of freedom with no care in the world? I was reminded of that during this shoot. Joyce and Jesse live fun. At least that’s the sense I get from interacting with them. They aren’t afraid to laugh and kick off their shoes or get their clothes wet. Props to keeping alive the inner child.
I must be going insane because I totally forgot to blog about this monumental event! One of my weddings was featured on wedding bells! (Page: 348) Go and pick up your own copy now! Its so exciting to be featured in print. So humbling and encouraging.
joyce and gary are really kind people….really really kind. It’s always such a pleasure working with people who are kind because it’s contagious. Their wedding felt like a warm summer breeze. kekeke. can we be friends? Joyce and Gary thank you for being my sound board and such good listeners during a confusing period in my life (you know what I’m talking about).
Here’s a more full post on Kasia…I can’t tell you how FUN these creatives are for me. I still love shooting weddings but to be able to shoot to satisfy my creative appetite is so invigorating. In the comments below please let me know which one your favorite is. I’m curious :P
lets just say it’s been a crazy weekend. It began with the Holt’s party…then megan and christophers fantastic wedding out in Fields on West Lake…then ended with a creative with Kasia from Elmer Olsen.
i know i know…this has nothing to do with weddings but all to do with shoes. Any girl will know that the hunt for “the” black pumps is a life long quest. I’ve gone through so many pairs of black pumps, not because I’ve worn through them but because they are just so uncomfortable. So. Today I stepped into michael kors and picked up a new pair. Black suede meets skin of snake…what say you? yay or nay?
