right now i’m in transit waiting at the detroit airport. In 15hrs i’ll land in seoul! It’s become quite the yearly trip and it’s really nice to see my family and eat my mums cooking. my flight out of toronto was at 7.30am in the morning which meant that i had to get to the airport suuuuper early @_@ the flight to detroit went smoothly (i don’t remember a thing cause i slept the WHOLE WAY) folks, detroit airport is nice! it’s clean and open. i like.
when i was packing it took me a while to figure out which bag i wanted to take as carry-on. the thought of carrying my camera around made me feel tired but also the thought of my luggage getting lost with my D3s inside made me feel a little sick. In the end i brought along my lowepro fastpack 350. this is an AWESOME bag because it fits your laptop comfortably. I have the partitions set up so that i can fit my D3s, 24mm, 50mm, 20mm, 35mm, my macro lense and flash. the upper portion of the bag is perfect for misc. things like laptop charger, snacks. it’s a very efficient bag. If i were to improve one thing it would be to make it a little more ergonomic.
to keep me occupied through the long flight i have my macbook air to keep me busy working, ipad to watch movies on and my iphone for music. @_@ there are very few apple products i haven’t tried. once i become a BIG TIME photographer i’ll invest in a mac pro

Gee,
judging by how it takes 15 hours to get to Seoul, I think you were in Detroit as in the only Detroit I know of as in the city on Lake Michigan as in the city 392km away. It’s merely an hour by plane from gate to gate, but when you say the WHOLE WAY it sounds like you hibernated.
Sincerely,
Joseph
yea i realized that afterwards. i was just so out of it that i didn’t even realize it was such a short flight.
thanks for the nerd calculation
