So amazed to have my very own wedding featured on style me pretty! Kinda surreal really. Thank you for the amazing feature! And a special thanks to my amazing friend and photographer claudia for shooting our special day. It’s amazing to come back from our honeymoon to this!
ok ok…i know i’ve super duper neglected my blogging but i hope you can forgive me!
The husband I spent a blissful two weeks away in Hawaii and it was AMAZING! I had some reservations about going because it seems like the typical honeymoon destination and it’s true! every other couple there is on their honeymoon. However, there are so many things to see and do and eat that it doesn’t really matter. We ate amazing food (thanks to wifi and yelp) and we hiked some amazing hikes and swam with turtles. The sunrise there is truly fabulous. We were so excited to see the sunrise that we got up super early the first morning and went sunrise hunting and ended up on Big Beach. We were there with the huge ocean in front of us and with the beach to ourselves we faced the sunrise.
Alright folks! Here’s part two and this marks the “almost start” of our honeymoon…
WARNING: As I will be enjoying the sunny beaches in hawaii my response to emails will be at a halt until mid january. Thank you for your support and understanding.
We are off to our honeymoon in less than two weeks!
I am soooo thrilled to be rid of this dreary weather by replacing it with the beautiful sunny sandy beaches of hawaii. I apologize to everyone and anyone who have been to this site only to disappointed by the lack of new posts. I confess I have been hibernating and enjoying doing a bit of nothing. I only now awake from my reverie to share my wedding photos with you. Why did I take so long posting them? I confess I have no idea. Maybe it just felt too good to share but I shouldn’t be selfish because there were some amazing people that contributed to these amazing photos.
I must be going insane because I totally forgot to blog about this monumental event! One of my weddings was featured on wedding bells! (Page: 348) Go and pick up your own copy now! Its so exciting to be featured in print. So humbling and encouraging.
lets just say it’s been a crazy weekend. It began with the Holt’s party…then megan and christophers fantastic wedding out in Fields on West Lake…then ended with a creative with Kasia from Elmer Olsen.

we did it! so. it’s been almost 2 months since the wedding and I can’t believe it. I had hoped to post this earlier but I was in no state to do so being so busy with work and getting life settled. People have been asking how married life is but you can’t really answer that 1 or 2 months into marriage because there’s just so much to get used to. In our case it was doubly true as I had work right before and right after the wedding. I was a little nuts seeing as we had 6 weeks to plan it. However, if i were to do it again I wouldn’t change a thing. Limiting our planning time saved us from spending money and getting stressed over unnecessary things.
I’m pretty good at building stuff. Maybe because I learned wood working from the tender age of 13 from a wonderful teacher who’s name is conveniently mr. wood. I hate going to ikea. But i loooooove to build it. One of the first steps ron and I are taking is turning our third room into a walk-in closet or “dressing room”.
