lets just say it’s been a crazy weekend. It began with the Holt’s party…then megan and christophers fantastic wedding out in Fields on West Lake…then ended with a creative with Kasia from Elmer Olsen.

Thailand: Bangkok day one
Did u know the movie “king and I” is banned in Thailand. Although its a democratic country they still treat the king like a deity.Off to see the grand palace and temple of emerald buddha. It’s hot and I have to make some effort to not let that start annoying me. I pull my hair up in a bun and face the heat. It’s quite beautiful and my tour guide does his best to explain everything to me.

That’s right, I’ve left home again to start my adventure. Before leaving though I had an in studio photoshoot with jihae and daniel. Her girlfriends graciously bought her a coupon for a session with yours truly. It was fun! They brought in several outfits for the shoot…can you guess which one was my favorite? kekeke -

Sash & Satin is a pretty new website that acts as a resource for Toronto brides to help them find vendors. It’s still developing but I like where it’s headed. This week they are featuring anna and hyungjun’s wedding. Glad someone else recognizes the hard work anna put into her wedding!

lois lee } co-host of daytime ottawa
wohoo!!!! I’m soooo happy for my friend lois who worked so hard and landed the position of co-host daytime ottawa. It was a grueling process of competiting with other competitors. All her friends and family voted everyday in support. I confess I voted with 3 different email accounts hehehe. Before the competition began lois came over for some headshots for submit. We had a blast drinking wine and eating macaroons and sharing life and dreams.

goodbye old, hello new!
After many months of hard work my new branding and website is up!
It’s a pretty huge deal for me. It was time to take the next step and “up” the game i guess. The goal was to unify my blog and portfolio in a more seamless format. This new site makes it pretty much impossible for an inquirer to get lost. They know where to go for portfolio images, where to go to contact me and where to go for blog posts. It was also important to have a strong logo that i could carry with me and implement anywhere. -
family portraits
just going through some photos from christmas! lol i know it’s nearing the end of january and i’m blogging about it now! it was really great to be able to give back to the church and do this photoshoot for people. I can’t tell you how many parents thanked me because they don’t have any family photos! unbelievable!
I forgot to take my 35mm so i used my 50mm…hahaha this is good practice…hopefully i’ll remember to take everything i need for my next photobooth. This is what happens when you switch bags. i really recommend sticking with one bag when you go on shoots because it reduces the chances of forgetting something important!
