Introducing my fave cafe in Korea. (so far)
It’s called Aa cafe and I’ve been visiting every year. I go there to drink their americano and listen to my music, reflect and write in my moleskin. I can’t tell you how much I enjoy doing this. It’s so great to write down my thoughts BY HAND!
I love the interior of this cafe in all it’s industrial glory. Just like the website describes, all the pieces in the space tells a story. The pieces were also collected by the owner from all over the world…including the tiles. Compared to most cafe’s in Seoul this one is massive! Maybe that’s also why I love it so much. Seoul is always so crowded so it’s nice to go somewhere with more breathing room. My fave spot in the cafe is the mezzanine level that overlooks the main cafe area with old vintage theater seats. There’s outlets placed conveniently on the table top for your laptop too!
Definitely hit this spot if you visit Seoul.
How amazing would it be to transform this whole space into my home. One can dream.
this space somehow makes me think of a train station. i don’t know why. Would be cool to have a wedding ceremony here.
my favorite spot!
someone’s left a mark. a bit of new history left on an older one. kind of a jerk whoever vandalized this chair but makes for a fun photograph…actually…if that says tae-yang then that’s pretty cool cause he’s famous.
the way to the washroom
i thought this was pretty cool. a poster featuring the guru’s of modern furniture and architure. (at least some of them)
