Shooting at the Gladstone is always fun because so far I’ve loved every one of my couples who got married there. Tory and Jamie are super cool! It’s nice…soooo nice to get to meet new people that you just like! Seeing these two get married was such a treat. You can just see how much joy they feel when they are together and how much they appreciate the others differences. I mean, just look at the reveal photos…Tory is REALLY excited to see Jamie for the first time on the wedding day and just can’t contain herself! She gets the prize for best reaction ever :P
What a trip. I truly didn’t know what to expect of Brazil. I’m a lucky girl to have had this opportunity to go and experience it with some wonderful people. Thanks Anna and Marcelo for having me! As you look through the photos you may be thinking to yourself…”this doesn’t look like brazil”. When I heard anna and marcelo’s wedding was to take place in brazil I got very excited with my own ideas of what brazil would be like. Marcelo realized what was happening and he said “wow wow..slow down…it’s probably not what you imagine. Sao Paulo is a big metropolitan city”. He also informed me that sao paulo is not a very safe place to be so we won’t be shooting in the city but in the park and by the hotel. I admit I didn’t really believe marcelo’s warning about the dangers until I went there and heard all the stories. What I loved most about my experience there was how hospitable the people are! They take it to the next level! I’ll always remember you guys!!!!!!!!! Come visit Toronto soon!
such an honor to have my work featured on stylemepretty.com so amazing! Check it out!
thank you susan and omar for being such a great couple before, during and even after the whole wedding process. It really means a lot to me! Susan, you have got to be one of my fave brides of 2012 :) I still drink your tea!!!! so yummy
baaahhhhhh can’t believe these two are married! I had such a fun time shooting their wedding because it really felt like I wasn’t working. In fact I had to remind myself that I was working and tell myself to shoot because angela and jun are just those kinds of people…they put people at ease. I loved all the details from their wedding (maybe because it reminded me of our wedding…which reminds me…i should post those sometime soon). I absolutely love these types of weddings!!!! Did I mention Angela is a super talented illustrator?
It seems as though every time I’m at Fields on West Lake the weather is the same. Cold and gloomy…with rain. However! Every time I go there it’s such an awesome wedding with such awesome couples. The outdoors, the decor, the people and LOVE…they are all ingredients to make that awesome wedding. It was personally so sweet because they had some crazy rains during their ceremony which was just like mine! I love weddings like this because it reminds me of my very own crazy backyard wedding. Something about rain that’s very utterly romantic.
I must be going insane because I totally forgot to blog about this monumental event! One of my weddings was featured on wedding bells! (Page: 348) Go and pick up your own copy now! Its so exciting to be featured in print. So humbling and encouraging.
It’s so sweet when you meet couples who perfectly compliment each other. Aside from the fiery romance that media calls “love” there’s also the aspect of partnership that is so sweet in marriage. It’s a blessing to find that someone that will laugh at our not-so-funny jokes and think they look cute when they’ve just woken up from deep slumber. Someone that will smooth out our rough edges and someone who will lend strength to the other when they need it. From what I’ve deciphered through my interaction with jane and jae…they have that.
Yay, desserts!! You know, I’ve never tried a wedding cake before. The only weddings I’ve ever been to didn’t have any cakes! I don’t know if I would like to have one at my own future wedding because they look so perfect, I don’t know how I’d be able to cut into it!
