So amazing to see these two happily married. It was also amazing to see two cultures come together and mesh. Korean + Barbadian. booyah! The wedding was super relaxed and chill…totally Barbados style. It was refreshing going to a wedding with no seating chart! People could sit where they liked with whom they liked. Super awesome!
Now that we are well into the new year I can now gather my thoughts and post my first post of 2014!
Last year was quite the year. It was by no means an easy year for me. It started off with our honeymoon (awesome!), then it was filled with a lot of destination weddings, all the while experiencing a not so-easy-pregnancy, to finally meeting our little Mercy! There were definitely many challenges to the job due to the pregnancy but all in all it has made me a stronger person. Also, finally being able to meet our Halloween baby was well worth the wait and the discomforts.
so….I know I have been majorly MIA this year and and I apologize thoroughly! I have missed posting my work and my life here on a more regular basis but the discomforts of pregnancy deterred me intensely from sitting my ass down to do anything. I even failed to announce my pregnancy, silly me…

Happy first anniversary my love. It’s been a rad year. Saranghae!
Such fun going through these photos especially in these unusually cool summer days in Toronto. I think I got a tan just from culling this wedding cause boy was it a hot sunny day! The ceremony and reception was a dream…something about having the ocean right next to you is so priceless. Emma and David! Thanks for having Ron and I at your wonderful week long party! You guys are great individuals and even better together. Hope to spend more time with you guys in the future!
For this gorgeous couples special event we fly to mexico. There in the warm sun we frolicked in the sand and took engagement photos before the big day. It was such a pleasure to be part of the group and witness these two tie the knot. I think all weddings should take place somewhere warm and relaxed. I don’t know what it is about destination weddings…is it the destination that makes it such a chill and relaxed wedding? or, is it the couples who are chill and relaxed that choose destination weddings? Either way, I love them because it’s sooooooo friggin relaxed!!!! None of the frenzy that comes with “local” weddings.
I must be going insane because I totally forgot to blog about this monumental event! One of my weddings was featured on wedding bells! (Page: 348) Go and pick up your own copy now! Its so exciting to be featured in print. So humbling and encouraging.
What a trip. I truly didn’t know what to expect of Brazil. I’m a lucky girl to have had this opportunity to go and experience it with some wonderful people. Thanks Anna and Marcelo for having me! As you look through the photos you may be thinking to yourself…”this doesn’t look like brazil”. When I heard anna and marcelo’s wedding was to take place in brazil I got very excited with my own ideas of what brazil would be like. Marcelo realized what was happening and he said “wow wow..slow down…it’s probably not what you imagine. Sao Paulo is a big metropolitan city”. He also informed me that sao paulo is not a very safe place to be so we won’t be shooting in the city but in the park and by the hotel. I admit I didn’t really believe marcelo’s warning about the dangers until I went there and heard all the stories. What I loved most about my experience there was how hospitable the people are! They take it to the next level! I’ll always remember you guys!!!!!!!!! Come visit Toronto soon!
