The Decor:
| Many of you are probably wondering what my wedding will look like. Here’s a look at what I was inspired by. Hopefully it’ll look something resembling this. I wanted everything pretty au naturel. Whimsical? Bohemian? sure…all those words work. Nothing contrived. But I guess to achieve a contrived look it has to be planned and calculated. I wish all weddings were like this… backyard…outdoor…using what you have… Thursday (3 days before the wedding) is when the tent gets delivered and set up. That is the day I figure out how I want everything set up. That is the day I figure out where to use/put all the ingredients and components I’ve quickly gathered for the big day. Yikes! |
The Attire:
| No. I’m not wearing Gwenyth Paltrow’s Tom Ford dress for my wedding. It’s just to show that I will not be wearing a “wedding dress” it will be wedding-y but t’was not from a bridal store. woohoo! Don’t get me wrong. I did go to several bridal stores to try said dresses on and there were a couple that took my breath away yet I just couldn’t bring myself to buy it. I LOVE what I bought for the big day and I can’t wait to wear it! I’m also excited to wear my custom jewelry by fab designer sally han. What does it look like? well…it has gold and blue in it…. In terms of colours for my bridesmaids? peach. or coral….or something in between. HAHAHAHA my bridesmaids hate me for not being picky enough.What are the guys wearing? who cares! lol just kidding. Grey is the colour for groomsmen and the groom…well…he hasn’t decided yet…grey or blue. I guess I’ll find out on the wedding day. He’s going sock-less with penny loafers, just the way he likes it. |
