before leaving for mali i did a photobooth for a family out in whitby. when i got there i realized i forgot to pack my white backdrop so we used their daughters bed sheet LOL!
if there’s something i’ve learned from being a photographer it’s to improvise when you have to! I also had to use electrical tape to keep the bedsheet in place because my clamps where in my bag with my backdrop. sigh.
it’s really fun to go into peoples homes and observe how people live. it’s very intimate if you think about it but that’s whats so cool about photography. the camera gives me access to go to places and do things that otherwise i wouldn’t be able to do. a bonus to that day was going out for indian food after….LOOOOOOOOOOVE curry!
Ahhhhh I love babys! I just wanna bite their cheeks!
Liz and Jussi’s baby Gabriel has incredibly bite-able cheeks. He’s such a happy smiley baby with a variety of expressions, such a sweetheart. I got to spend the whole day with the family beginning the shoot in Gabriels baby room and wrapping things up at the harbourfront. It was awesome working with such a welcoming and laid back family. It’s also such a pleasure shooting people that my camera loves and my camera really loved Liz and Jussi
